For our client, a global provider of digital technology and transformation, IT services, we are looking for Senior Software Engineering Lead.
You will be responsible for developing innovative applications by creatively selecting appropriate technical options and optimising application development, maintenance, and performance. You will collaborate closely with project managers, interpreting application features and component designs to develop them in accordance with specifications. Additionally, you will contribute to improving customer satisfaction and employee engagement within project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret application features and component designs to develop them in accordance with specifications.
- Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product component and feature development stages.
- Validate results with user representatives and integrate the overall solution.
- Select and create appropriate technical options for development, optimising efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement within project teams.
- Set FAST goals for self/team and provide feedback to FAST goals of team members.
Measures of Success:
- Adherence to engineering process and standards (coding standards).
- Adherence to project schedule and timelines.
- Number of technical issues uncovered during the execution of the project.
- Number of defects in the code and post-delivery.
- Number of non-compliance issues.
- Percent of voluntary attrition.
- On-time completion of mandatory compliance trainings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Oic, Web Services, and Oracle SQL.
- Strong understanding of programming languages and software development life cycle.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
