The Role:
As the Front-end Tech Lead (React), you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence within the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, actively contributing to development alongside your team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of top-tier products.
- Set and establish best practices within the frontend ecosystem, driving technical discussions and decisions while leveraging the most suitable tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to shape the platform, incorporating direct client feedback and industry insights backed by data-driven evidence.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and oversee the development, testing, and release of new functions and features.
- Take ownership of unit testing your code and conducting thorough peer reviews to maintain code quality.
- Foster effective collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, engaging with Product, Architecture, and DevOps functions to drive success.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, empowering them with expertise in ReactJS and related trends.
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, demonstrating mastery in frontend development.
- Deep understanding and extensive experience in React framework, driving efficient and scalable solutions.
- Experience in responsive design, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Proficient with testing frameworks, ensuring robust code quality and reliability.
- Strong grasp of the latest ECMAScript standards, employing advanced state management practices using different libraries.
- Understanding of design principles, accessibility, and usability testing to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, caching, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Cloud services, leveraging them to enhance product capabilities.
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills, empowering team members to excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, facilitating smooth collaboration and resolution of challenges.
- Interest in and familiarity with AI technologies is a plus.
