We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to create both technical and business-focused test cases based on business requirements and technical designs. Fully remote position with possibility to work in hybrid mode in one of the offices located in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical and business-focused test cases based on business requirements and technical design.
- Generate and manage both real and synthetic test data.
- Plan and execute automated test data generation.
- Execute tests, manage results, and analyze outcomes.
- Conduct and maintain regression tests for new and updated features.
- Organize and optimize the use of test tools.
- Document test variations, retest fixed issues, and create detailed error logs for the development team.
- Track and verify the resolution of identified defects through retesting.
- Automate processes suitable for automation.
- Maintain testing procedures and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
- Programming Skills: On-hands experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Automation Tools: Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Gauge, and Selenium.
- Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Test Management: Experience with test management tools like Octane, Jira, or equivalent.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
