On behalf of our global client – a leading international provider of innovative healthcare and digital solutions – we are currently seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Security Architect to join the growing IT Security Team and contribute to the strategic development of a new Center of Excellence for IT Security.
In this role, you will act as the go-to expert for Microsoft Cloud Platform Security, taking ownership of security architecture design, implementation, and innovation across enterprise-scale hybrid and cloud environments.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud and hybrid architectures (Microsoft Azure-focused) aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the security architecture for Microsoft cloud platforms, including Azure, Azure AD, Defender, Sentinel, and Container Security.
- Act as security lead for AI-driven projects, including SaaS/PaaS or self-hosted AI systems.
- Translate complex business needs and compliance obligations into robust security architectures and reusable reference models.
- Drive the adoption of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security designs across teams.
- Develop and validate PoCs and security prototypes, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of secure solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing secure cloud solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Strong experience with tools such as Azure AD, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Proven (formal or informal) leadership or mentoring experience.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture, DevSecOps, and cloud-native environments.
- Practical experience with incident response, threat modeling, and security governance.
- Familiarity with cost optimization, service design, and vulnerability/configuration management is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills – fluent in English (B2/C1).
- Proactive, hands-on approach, with a strategic mindset and desire to share knowledge and grow professionally.
Nice to have:
- Certifications in Microsoft security or cloud technologies (e.g., SC-100, AZ-500).
- Experience with AI Security, Kubernetes/Containers, or cloud cost governance.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments and automation frameworks (Terraform, Bicep, etc.).
